Exclusive Earl Slick interview coming Saturday!

“Stay,” from Station to Station, is one of my favorite Bowie songs. It’s hard to express just how thrilling it was to talk with one of its creators, the lead guitarist, about making it in the studio with Bowie himself. We’ll discuss his 40+ year relationship with Bowie, his new memoir, life as one of the most accomplished guitarists in rock music and much more.

Earl started playing guitar for Bowie all the way back during the Diamond Dogs era (he’s the lead guitarist on the David Live album). His full list of credits is so extensive that it had to be trimmed down for inclusion in his new memoir, appropriately titled Guitar. He’s played with John Lennon, Yoko Ono, and Ian Hunter, and has a boatload of solo albums to his name. You probably listen to Earl Slick play guitar more often than you realize.
