Coming Saturday: Exclusive interview with Earl Slick!

Earl Slick played guitar for David Bowie from 1974 through 2013, contributing to albums like Station to Station, Young Americans, Heathen, Reality, The Next Day, and several live albums. He’s truly one of the most accomplished and influential guitarists in rock music, and this Saturday, he’s coming to this blog for an exclusive video interview! Trust me, you won’t want to miss it!

This video features Earl and Bernard Fowler performing “Diamond Dogs” live. Earl first started playing for Bowie on the Diamond Dogs tour in 1974, and he might even be uncredited on the album (I’ll ask him about that in the interview). Bernard sang backup for Bowie, and I actually saw him this summer performing in a similar role with The Rolling Stones.
