This Bowie tribute would not be complete without some acknowledgment of the 1986 Iggy Pop Album, Blah Blah Blah.  Bowie co-produced and co-wrote most of the album.  Probably the best known song from it is, “Cry for Love,” but I’m posting this one because Bowie’s voice can be heard singing backup.  This album would be the last Bowie-Pop collaboration.  As with most of their previous collaborations, Bowie was an active part in creating Iggy’s record here, whereas Iggy was a passive partner for Bowie’s albums such “China Girl,” “Red Money,” and several songs off Tonight.  In those cases, Bowie merely covered Iggy, whereas for Raw Power, The Idiot, Lust for Life and this one, Bowie helped create the album from the ground up.  Album: Blah Blah Blah
