Day 295 | O Superman

I lament my missed chance to see Bowie and Gail Ann Dorsey perform this song live, and they never recorded it in the studio. It was originally Laurie Anderson’s song, which I liked in college simply because it is weird. At the time Anderson would sometimes be compared to Suzanne Vega- they were both supposed to be weird, but there is no comparison. I don’t remember any other Laurie Anderson songs, but this is about as odd as a pop song gets. Appropriate for a Bowie cover.
