Day 235 | Isn’t It Evening (The Revolutionary)

This 365 day tribute started amidst the sadness of Bowie’s passing but has become a fun hobby in part because despite my deep familiarity with all things Bowie, I keep discovering stuff I just didn’t know existed. This 2003 song is an example. I don’t think I ever heard it before. Bowie contributed it to an Earl Slick solo album. Slick was one of Bowie’s many guitarists, and like others such as Mick Ronson and Adrian Belew, Bowie was good enough to help a friend out. The result is a pretty nice song, which happens to be one of his last prior to the decade-long break between Reality and The Next Day. Album: Zig Zag (Earl Slick album)
