Mother Denim Launches Bowie-themed clothing line

Nope, I never heard of Mother Denim before I read that the brand launched a high-end line of Bowie-inspired clothing. Attached are some pictures and if you want to read more, here’s a Link to the company’s web site.

On its face, I think these pieces are pretty cool, but not terribly different than the more run-of-the-mill swag you can buy (for less) at DavidBowie.com. Nonetheless, I like the look.

In life, Bowie influenced fashion by what he actually wore. What I find especially interesting about this line is that his name and likeness are featured on the clothing here. (Though these are presented as “capsules,” by which I think is meant the entire set— so it’s not just the shirt with Bowie’s face, but the whole getup).

Also, today is my mother’s birthday, so… Mother…get it?
