Bowie and Iggy Pop obviously had a long, collaborative relationship. Bowie frequently co-wrote songs with Iggy, which were usually recorded first by Iggy. I have read that “The Jean Genie” was partially inspired by Iggy himself, so I was delighted to come across this video.
