This is a nice song that I haven’t thought much about other than to wonder what about it stood out to Bowie enough to include it on his album of covers. It, along with “Don’t Bring Me Down” are similar in that respect but both come from the same band. It might just be that the band’s name alone inspired Bowie: the Pretty Things.
