Record Collector Magazine features Bowie on two covers

Record Collector Magazine, a magazine about collecting records, features Bowie on the cover of two different versions of it’s February issue. I’ve included both images here, as well as a screenshot taken from the magazine’s web site (chick on the bolded words to visit the web site), suggesting that Bowie frequently grace’s the publication’s cover. I haven’t seen the article being promoted by the covers, but it’s apparently about Bowie’s dramatic change in style between Diamond Dogs and Young Americans. The change was dramatic, but Bowie hinted at his new direction with songs like the funky “1984” and the ballad, “Rock ‘N’ Roll with Me,” both of which were on Diamond Dogs but telegraphed the stylistic shift from glam to “plastic soul”.
