I just read the news that the great guitarist, Jeff Beck passed away. I’m posting this video, which is a clip from Moonage Daydream that features Beck backing Bowie, as an impromptu tribute. I haven’t had time to come up with a thoughtful commentary about Jeff beck, but its worth noting that he certainly influenced Bowie and was the model for Mick Ronson, Bowie’s guitarist during the Spiders period. There’s much more to say, but for now what I can do is post this video.
