“Isn’t it Evening,” Earl Slick’s Collaboration with Bowie, breaks into the British top-10!

Earl Slick has earned his first top-10 hit as an artist, thanks to the re-release of “Isn’t It Evening,” a collaboration with David Bowie, which debuted at No. 3 on both the Official Physical Singles and Official Vinyl Singles charts in the U.K. The track, originally featured on Slick’s 2003 album Zig Zag, features Bowie’s vocals and was recently remixed by Bob Clearmountain, who worked with Bowie on the Let’s Dance album. A limited-edition colored vinyl release has spurred renewed interest, drawing fans of both Bowie and Slick to this haunting and evocative track, which also debuted at No. 18 on the Official Singles Sales chart.
