Michelle’s and my dear friend, Letizia Tagliafierro tragically lost her long battle with cancer earlier this year. Some of her many friends and former colleagues decided to honor her memory by establishing a scholarship in her name for SUNY Albany, Letizia’s Alma mater. Please consider making a donation to this tribute, which will help establish a permanently endowed public service scholarship for future students.
I worked with Letizia for many years in different capacities both in Buffalo and Albany. She was a skilled attorney and dedicated public servant. More than that, she was kind, funny and beautiful in every way. She is missed by everyone who knew her.
If you were thinking of getting me a present this year for Christmas or my upcoming 55th birthday (yep, I’m getting old), please consider making a donation instead. This is what means the most to me this year.
Donating is easy— just click here to learn more about the scholarship and make your donation. Your donation is tax deductible and will be matched by 50% from the State of New York.
You can donate any time, but please consider donating today. We are planning a celebration of Letizia’s life on December 11th at 6:00 pm at the Albany Hilton and would like to be able to announce how much we’ve raised thus far at that time. And please consider yourself invited to that event whether you can make a donation or not.
