Free Form Friday: New York’s in Love*

I was recently in New York City and took these pictures. New York is a great place to be in December, both because its decked out for the December holidays, its about ten degrees warmer than Albany and there are many places to eat and things to do outdoors. New York City has many problems, but they were not on display in Midtown during my visit. Actually, I’ve been going to Manhattan at least monthly for a while now, and it seems to be at least as inviting as before the pandemic. And, on that point, while, sadly, a majority are not wearing masks, enough people are so that I don’t feel like people are looking at my like a weirdo (which I get in Albany).

*Free form Fridays are supposed to be Bowie free, but I couldn’t help but use the name of one of his more forgotten songs off 1987’s Never Let Me Down.
