Day 98 | Tonight

This was originally another Bowie-Iggy Pop collaboration, which Iggy recorded first on the Bowie-produced album, Lust for Life. Iggy’s version has a spoken preface establishing that the song is directed to a dying girl from her lover, offering final words of comfort. Bowie’s version leaves that out and certainly Tina Turner wasn’t going anywhere near that part. Album: Tonight
