My boss is going to sign into law today paid family leave and a phased in $15 minimum wage. That made me think of this song about a woman (implied by the video to be a single mother) who has to stoop to desperate measure to make ends meet (possibly also to feed a drug habit, which brings us to our opioids policy, but that’s another song for another story).  Album: Never Let Me Down.
