Day 70 | Fill Your Heart

While not explicitly about Spring, I cannot think of a more appropriate Bowie song to mark the first day of the season. It is atypically happy for a Bowie song, and in fact is a cover so there’s a reason for that. How he chose to put this song and the equally optimistic, “Kooks,” on the same album as “Quicksand,” “Life on Mars” and “The Bewlay Brothers” is probably a secret that only made sense to him. In lieu of an actual video, what I’m positing is a version of the song you probably haven’t heard before. Album: Hunky Dory
