Day 55 | New Killer Star

The four albums Bowie released between 1997 and 2003 each contained a song nominated for the now defunct Grammy Award for Best Male Rock Vocal.  This one was nominated in 2004.  Very vaguely political, the opening lines seem (maybe deliberately this time) to once again be about 9/11. But I don’t think too much should be read into the lyrics.  It’s a catchy song- maybe his last catchiest. Weird video sadly not featuring Bowie himself.  Album: Reality
