Day 78 | Warszawa

This song has nothing to do with Dyngus Day, but it was inspired by Bowie’s travel through Warsaw, Poland and the vocal part is either Polish or based on a Polish chant, so… Bowie’s lyrics often make no sense. I think he did that both to make his music more impressionistic that literal and also because he thought of the voice as an instrument. Nowhere are both tendencies on greater display than here.
