Day 241 | The Passenger

When I first heard Iggy Pop’s albums, The Idiot and Lust for Life, I thought I found the brother and sister of Bowie’s Low and “Heroes,” which of course I had. The two made the album’s together in Berlin. Bowie co-wrote many of the songs, played in them, produced them and sung on some. He didn’t co-write “The Passenger” but played keyboards and clearly sang backup (though he isn’t credited for that).  But the reason I’m featuring this song today is that I’m going on vacation and will be a passenger for most of the day.
