Day 197 | African Night Flight

This is another of the band Shearwater’s covers of songs from Bowie’s album, Lodger. It is such a faithful rendition that I am not also posting audio of Bowie’s version. It sounds like a tough song to cover with the fast singing and nearly, but not quite discordant music. Shearwater covered the entire album and all the covers sound great (though great in the sense of a great reproduction—there’s not a lot of interpretation- these songs sound like Bowie’s originals). At this point I think they only exist on you Tube, but I’d buy the album. Album: Lodger
