Day 195 | The Gouster Sessions

The big Bowie news of the week is that a new box set will include a previously unreleased album, The Gouster. I had heard of this album title but thought it was a working title for what turned out to be the Young Americans album. I’m hoping this “new” album is going to be available outside the box set because I already have everything else. In any case, this selection appeared on You Tube shortly after news about the box set broke. It includes material I have never heard before. What’s frustrating is that these are song segments- I want to hear the whole song, which leads me to believe this is meant as a teaser. That said it is worth posting because if you listen to it, I’m guessing it will be new to you too. Album: The Gouster (?)
