Day 126 | Seu Jorge sings Changes

I’m pretty comfortable declaring that the most unique Bowie cover album is this soundtrack, in which all (or most) of the songs are performed in Portuguese. This is an example. They are all done very well and I remember reading that Bowie was pleased with how they came out. It is also worth noting that these really are songs from the soundtrack-they play throughout the movie, which otherwise has nothing to do with Bowie (in contrast to, say Christina F, which features actual Bowie songs lifted right from their original studio albums… As well as a concert scene of Bowie singing!  Album: The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (soundtrack)
