Day 124 | What in the World

What in the world do I write about “What in the World?” This is one of Bowie’s several indecipherable, mixed up songs that has more of a feel than a clear meaning. The feel I get is kind of the frantic preparation before a date comes over to visit for the first time. Distracted thoughts and shifting attentions that boil down to, ‘I’m in the mood for your love…for your love…” While this is not a feeling I have experienced in a long time, I do remember how it felt…kind of like this song.
