The inspiration for this song was Donald Trump essentially winning a major party nomination last night. The lyrics are typical Bowie: evocative without being explicit. Taken literally, they make no sense, but combined with the mood they seem to imply something dark, ominous and perverse. All not unlike Trump. Album: Outside
