Day 114 | Seven Years In Tibet

Bowie sings in Chinese in this video, suggesting that consistent with its name, this song indeed has something to do with Tibet. I never read the book or saw the movie of the same name and don’t know if the English version of these lyrics would make more sense if I had. Despite my total cluelessness about the lyrics’ meaning, this was my first favorite song from the album just based on how it sounds. It sounds just as good in Mandarin. Album: Earthling
