Day 110 | Wild Eyed Boy from Freecloud/All the Young Dudes/Oh You Pretty Things

I thought of this clip because I saw that this album along with Santa Monica ’72, another live album, are being reissued on vinyl. Of the three songs in this medley the most interesting (but also least good) is the first one. Other than the title track, Bowie did not perform much fun on the Space Oddity album as his career progressed. This song is an artifact from that early period. It comes off as immature compared to the other two songs. There are other, better songs from Space Oddity that I haven’t seen or heard him perform live at all, like “Janine,” so we’ll take what we can get. Album: Ziggy Stardust the Motion Picture
