Bowie Songs of the Year Project…

I have increasingly been using this blog to connect Bowie or Bowie’s music to events of the day. This in part harkens back to what I was doing in 2016, which was not only a song-a-day tribute to Bowie during the year of his death, but also a chronicle of what was happening in that strangely fascinating year. With that in mind, tomorrow I’ll be launching my own top 10 list of Bowie songs of the year. The idea is to identify Bowie songs with what I think of as the top developments (or, put more simply, top stories) of 2022. I might interrupt the list depending on what else comes up before I get to #1.
